Privacy.
What this site knows about you, which is close to nothing. Written by us, not by a template.
Last reviewed 12 September 2026No cookies, no analytics, no tracking.
dancer.digital sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. We do not know how many people visit, where they came from, or what they clicked, and we have decided we can live with that.
Three things involve other companies.
Fonts. The typefaces are served by Google Fonts. When the page loads, your browser fetches them from Google, which means Google's servers see your IP address and the usual request details. Google's account of what it does with that is in its Google Fonts privacy notice.
Hosting. The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for a limited period, to run the service and keep it secure. See the Vercel privacy policy.
The mailing list. The "Keep me posted" form sends your address to Buttondown, which runs our list. Nothing from Buttondown loads on this page; the form only talks to it when you press the button. Buttondown stores the address, sends a confirmation email so nobody can sign you up without you, and records opens and unsubscribes as any mailing service does. Its policy is the Buttondown privacy notice.
Nothing else is loaded from anywhere else.
If you email us.
Writing to hello@dancer.digital sends us your address and whatever you put in the message. We keep it so we can reply and remember what we said. We do not add you to any list, sell it, share it, or use it for anything other than the conversation you started.
If you join the mailing list, your address is used for one thing: an email when something of ours becomes playable. No weekly round-ups, nothing on behalf of anyone else. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and that removes you from Buttondown's records straight away. You can also just tell us and we will do it by hand.
If you take part in a playtest, we may keep notes on what you reported. Those notes are about the game, not about you, and are not shared outside the studio.
Our games have their own notices.
Clubverse™ is a separate service with accounts and saved games, so it collects more than this site does. Its policy is at clubverse.net/privacy. Games we have not released yet will get their own when they need one.
Your rights.
Under UK data protection law you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Given the above, the answer is usually "an email thread", and we will deal with it by hand. If you are not happy with how we respond, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Who we are.
